More commentsI own the tx 5.0 treadmill and when i put the key in none of the lights show up so i can't get the treadmill to work. Does anyone have any idea what i can try?
I ended up having to get a new control panel, and as I had owned it less than a year, it was no problem getting the part. I got the new part last spring, and ran outside with the nicer weather so hadn't used it. I put the new panel on, and it worked for 3 min, and then went to a 3 code. I tried it several times, and now it will only work for 7 sec at a time. I put back on my old panel, and it did it too....code 3. What does that mean, and what can I do? My warranty is expired now.
I have had my TX5.0RC for a couple of years, however it has not been used that much. Today I turned it on and it will only run 7 seconds and then kicks shuts off with a 3 error code. What can I do to fix it? Of course, I can't find the manual to it.
how do you tighten the belt on the treadmill sportcraft TX300I have a TX300 and my belt is slipping as well. I found a bolt on each side in the rear and tightened them with an allen wrench...I'm sure which way to turn them. It seemed like it worked but I think its loose again. Have you heard from anyone else about tightening the belt?
we should have a class action agains sportcraf the model tx420 treadmillhas wait to many problems the code 3 is very common.i will never buyit again
WHATS A ERROR 7 ON SPORTSCRAFT TX 2.5 TREDMILL?I have the same problem. Did you find out what means the error 7?
I have a TX5 model and it will run for 5 seconds, click and shut off and a 3 shows up in the distance/pulse area. I pulled off the cover and found the black plastic wheel on the far right is broken. From what I understand the #3 is the error code for the speed sensor and in this case the wheel was broke so the sensor doesn't work properly. I have looked everywhere for parts and have had no luck . I see a lot of people have had this trouble after it was in transit- that was my experience also. I know this doesn't solve anyone's problem but hopefully it will help with trouble shooting.
I have the same problem with TX 5.0. It runs 5 seconds and cut off. I replaced the black plastic wheel and it continues to cut off. I will NEVER buy anything that has to do with sportcraft. I cannot find a answer to the question. It doesn't make sense we spent our money for nothing. Sportcraft doesn't care at all, just as long as they got our money. I went out and brought a Nordictrack. The Nordictrack is MUCH better than the junk Sportcraft sell.
I have the same problem with my tx-300 it turns on and shows a 7 in the distance and does nothing else
My tx400 doent turn on at all what do you think is wrong with it?
